Lead Technician

We are a trusted partner for the world's leading semiconductor companies and are looking for Lead Technician's to join our Team based on our Customer's site in Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

Purpose of the role The Lead Technician is a key role in ensuring the smooth running in one of our Customer's areas based in a cleanroom environment.
The Lead Technician is responsible for providing effective leadership of their team and communication between the Customer and WGNSTAR.
Your goal will be to adhere to facility standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and quality.
Your success will contribute to the facilities overall throughput while simultaneously developing your own skills in a coveted and highly technical industry.
What you will be doing
• Attend/run Start of Shift (SOS) meetings and coordinate tasks and priorities

• Liase with customer representatives

• Actively participate in training and certification of the team members

• Follow procedures and BKMs

• Provide regular updates to the Shift Manager on progress throughout the shift

• Report to the Shift Manager on absence and attendance

• Attend/Run passdown between shifts
Role Requirements
• Responsibility for the safe working environment of yourself and your team

• Attention to detail is essential regarding all tasks

• React proactively to changes in customer and company priorities and manage tasks accordingly

• Excellent personal skills and communication skills

• Ability to work a compressed working week (CWW) 12 hour shifts within a 4-shift cycle (day & night including weekends)

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with multiple changing priorities

• Proficient use of IT and systems
