The
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
will have responsibility for managing and increasing sales in Galway.
You will have full responsibility for management and development of sales for the area.
You will have strong track record and proven ability in sales.
The successful candidate will be charged with the responsibility for:
To achieve agreed yearly & quarterly targets by managing existing business and generating new business.
Reconciliations – to ensure all stock from delivery to sales are reconciled and are properly accounted for at all times.
Manage the rota for the team to cover, holidays, absenteeism etc
Transport – ensuring the management & maintenance of all company fleet vehicles.
Accurate reporting of operational matters as required by regional manager and Company Management.
Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate will clearly demonstrate:
Minimum 3 years successful track record in similar sales-based role.
Excellent planning and organising skills.
Full clean Irish/European driving licence.
Ownership of responsibilities and issues.
Ability to participate and contribute to sales strategy discussions and be a team player.
