As Area Director of Sales, you will report to the Deputy Head of Sales Ireland. You will guide and manage hotel operations effectively and liaise with the General Managers in your area, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial success.

Your Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Build and inspire a dynamic area sales team, motivating and empowering them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead hotel strategy in the planning and forecasting of owned business segments
• Support & adopt a culture of lead generation across the hotels.
• Represent the hotels at sales team meetings, internal & external customer led events as appropriate.
• Adoption of all available tools to support efficient ways of working including CRM, BI Tool, Market Intelligence Tools and Solver etc.
  
  

What You Will Need

• Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Sales Manager in a busy, fast paced environment.
• Multi-site experience is a distinct advantage
• Strong leadership skills & experience of managing a team
• Effective communicator who promotes collaboration
• Strong influencer
• Be commercially aware with strong analytical skills, be able to understand key business indicators and competitive trends
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Sales focused and results driven
• Knowledge of the Galway market desireable but not essential.
