OverviewSandvik is a global, high-tech engineering group, providing front-line products and services for the mining and construction industries.The Sandvik Group has been in operation since **** and today employs some 40,000 people, working in approximately 160 countries.Our diverse solutions delivered by our highly qualified and proficient employees enhance our customers' productivity, safety and their profitability.Job title: HR Generalist (Hybrid) – for a permanent term role in our Dublin Office.JOB PURPOSEThe HR Generalist will provide comprehensive day-to-day HR support to managers and employees, ensuring the consistent application of HR policies and compliance with Irish employment law.This role partners closely with the HR Manager on national HR projects and initiatives that align with local business strategy, while leading employee relations processes, advising managers on performance and workforce planning, and supporting compensation, benefits, and engagement programs.The HR Generalist also contributes to building a positive workplace culture through effective communication, training, and development, while maintaining accurate HR records and mentoring other HR team members.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day HR support to managers and employees, ensuring consistent application of policies and proceduresAssist HR Manager on national HR projects and initiatives that align with the local business strategyOverseeing HR policies and employee relations, ensuring compliance with Irish employment law and best practicesSupport & lead employee relations casesMaintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company standardsSupport compensation and benefits activities, including annual reviews and benchmarkingPrepare and process HR Related documentation efficiently and accuratelyDevelop communications, training and guidance materials to promote best HR practices and complianceDrive initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and culture-buildingMentor and support HR team membersPrepare monthly and quarterly HR reportsOther adhoc duties as requested by managementExperience5+ years of HR experienceStrong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practicesExperience with HR systems, data driven reporting and process improvementMinimum of 2 years in a HR generalist or equivalent roleProven experience handling employee relation casesEducation, Licenses & CertificatesHR/Business degree;
