About the RoleWe're seeking a talented Data Engineer with a passion for DeFi to build and maintain our high-performance data infrastructure and support building automated analysis and insights.You'll be responsible for sourcing, indexing, and analyzing blockchain data, creating the data foundation that powers our platform's insights and decision-making.What You'll DoBuild and optimize data pipelines.Parse and transform Solana transaction and account data from Geyser gRPC feedsDesign high-performance indexing systemsthat can handle real-time blockchain data at scaleDevelop robust data transformationsthat convert raw blockchain data into actionable financial metrics and business intelligenceCreate and maintain APIsusing solutions like Supabase that expose our data to internal and external consumersOptimize database performanceincluding query optimization, indexing strategies, and data modeling in PostgreSQLMonitor and improve pipeline reliabilityensuring data accuracy and system uptimeCollaborate with analysts and product teamsto understand data needs and deliver solutions that enable deep insights into DeFi protocols and market dynamicsWhat We're Looking ForRequired SkillsStrong PostgreSQL expertise: Complex queries, performance tuning, indexing strategies, and data modelingRust proficiency: Building and maintaining high-performance data processing systemsData pipeline architecture: Building reliable, scalable ETL/ELT systems that handle high-throughput data streamsUnderstanding of financial metrics: P&L, liquidity metrics, trading volumes, yields, and DeFi-specific KPIsAPI development: REST or GraphQL APIsDevops: Cloudformation and infrastructure as code to deploy and manage data infrastructureHighly ValuedExperience with SolanaFamiliarity with Geyser or similar Rust-based blockchain data parsing frameworksKnowledge of DeFi protocols (DEXs, lending platforms, liquid staking, derivatives)Experience with Supabase edge functions and real-time subscriptionsBackground in data streaming and event-driven architecturesPrior work in quantitative finance or trading systemsTypescript is a plusWho You ArePassionate about DeFi: You're excited by decentralized finance and eager to dive deep into onchain dataPerformance-minded: You care about system efficiency and write code that scales under heavy loadDetail-oriented: You understand that data quality and accuracy are paramount in financial applicationsSelf-directed: You can take ownership of complex problems and drive them to completionCollaborative: You work well with cross-functional teams and can translate technical concepts for different audiencesPragmatic problem-solver: You balance ideal solutions with practical deliveryTechnical StackData Parsing: Vixen (Rust framework)Data Source: Solana Geyser gRPC feedLanguages: Rust, TypeScriptDatabase & Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL)Infrastructure: Real-time data pipelines, API layerWhat makes this role unique: You'll be working at the intersection of cutting-edge blockchain technology and data engineering, building infrastructure that processes millions of transactions and helps people understand and participate in the future of finance.You'll have direct impact on the data quality and insights that drive decision-making in one of the most dynamic ecosystems in crypto.Applying for the rolePlease share your resumé and a short note highlighting the most relevant aspects of your experience.#J-*****-Ljbffr
