We are looking for a talented and driven full-stack engineer to help build AI features into Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities
Work in a cross-functional organization to design, develop, test, and release a new wave of Copilot features, transforming the customer experience.
Design, produce, and deliver resilient and maintainable software to improve usability, reliability, scalability, performance, and security of the product, demonstrating independence and ownership.
Actively participate in code reviews, bug/issue triage with feature teams, data and experiment analysis, and support data-driven decisions towards business and engineering goals.
Provide technical leadership for the team and mentor other software engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and technical engineering experience with full-stack languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, React, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python OR equivalent experience.
Deep understanding of software engineering principles, with experience developing features for large-scale customer-facing applications.
Experience building and maintaining libraries, SDKs, and other shared platform components.
Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and drive for clarity.
Proven ability to handle competing priorities and perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Passion for learning new technologies and staying up to date with AI industry trends and best practices.
Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND proven years of experience with coding in languages such as TypeScript, React, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with similar experience OR equivalent experience.
Experience building or integrating AI & LL-powered features is a bonus.
Exposure to C++ and unmanaged memory software development is a bonus.
