OverviewWe are looking for a Commercial Motor Underwriter to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.You will play a key role in underwriting commercial motor, motor fleet, and motor schemes portfolio, helping the business grow profitably.This role isn't just about underwriting renewals — you'll be working across commercial motor, motor fleet, and motor schemes, building relationships, making solid underwriting decisions, and contributing to the profitable growth of the business.Hybrid:South Dublin (2 days on site)Day to day / ResponsibilitiesUnderwriting commercial motor businessin line with agreed standards, limits, and financial objectives.Handle referrals and querieswithin your underwriting authority and in line with company guidelines.Collaborate with your team and other departmentsto provide excellent service and support to clients.Completing all tasks in line with Department Procedures, including renewals, complaints, error management, SLAs, and personal business objectives.Contribute to a high-performance environmentby participating in training, mentoring, and internal quality reviews.Your profile / QualificationsAPA qualified - working towards the qualification.Minimum of 2 years' experience working in underwriting.The role is designed for someone who can already handle commercial accounts.Proven track record of strong performance and decision-making.Strong technical understanding of insurance products and underwriting principles.Positive, proactive, and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.Why joinWork alongside a team of experienced, supportive professionalsDevelop your expertise in commercial lines and broaden your career potentialEnjoy excellent benefits (pension, health insurance, home & motor discounts, lunch allowance)How to applyIf you are curious to know more and if your profile fits perfectly with this position, please reach out to Iraia at ************* or send us your updated CV to ******#J-*****-Ljbffr
