NDT Global Dublin, One Swift Square, Santry Demesne, Dublin, Dublin, IrelandJob DescriptionNDT Global is the leading provider of ultra-high-tech diagnostic inspection solutions, advanced data analysis and integrity assessment services for ensuring the safety and longevity of energy-sector infrastructure assets.Recognized as the forerunner in ultrasonic inspection technologies comprising Pulse Echo, Pitch-and-Catch and Phased Array, as well as Acoustic Resonance (ART Scan) methodologies, the company also deploys a range of non-ultrasonic technologies, such as Inertial Measurement Units, with more under development.NDT Global strategically applies its inspection technologies to detect, diagnose and model various types of threat—circumferential or axial cracks, metal loss, geometry, mapping, and more—across diverse classes of assets.By providing predictive, decision-ready insights driven by the world's most accurate data, NDT Global enables the conditions for asset owners to optimize infrastructure health and drive operational efficiencies while reducing risk and minimizing their carbon footprint.PurposeThe Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting across assigned entities.This role plays a critical part in maintaining robust financial controls, managing statutory compliance, and supporting key accounting processes including month-end close, audits, and reconciliations.The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly management accounts for assigned entities, including preparation of month end reconciliations.Manage financial reporting requirements across entities, liaising with external consultants to ensure all filing and reporting requirements are met.Ensure a robust system of internal controls operates over all transactions.Ensure a comprehensive month-end file is prepared and reviewed to support all balances held at the reporting date including detailed schedules for accruals, provisions and prepayments.Manage accounts receivables and payables processes to facilitate timely reconciliation, with any queries resolved quickly and efficiently.Administer employee expenses in an efficient and co-operative manner.Manage the statutory audit process, including liaison with third party providers for preparation of the accounts.Manage the submission of all VAT returns, ensuring they are filed on time.Responsible for daily bank reconciliations.Acts as a point of contact for all financial control related issues in assigned entities.Cross train in all areas of accounting process across different regions.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications and experience:A bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related education is preferredAlicenseas a Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent)isrequiredMinimum of3-5years of experience in a full cycle accountingroleis requiredProven experience with financial reporting requirements, general ledger functions and the month end/year end close processes and auditsDemonstrated experience using SAP and IFRSMust be proficient in spoken and written EnglishBasicknowledge ofexpense systems(SAP Concur or similar)Basicknowledge of other Reporting Tools (Power BI or similar)Intermediate knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)25 days Annual leave & 56 days paid sick leave.Flexible & Hybrid working: Our flextime model allows you to design your working day as it suits your needs.100% paid for Private Healthcare and Dental Insurance cover.Life Assurance and Income Protection.Non-contributory company pension scheme, LifeWe think about the future: Individual training and development opportunities and professional development schemes.International, intercultural and collegial working environment.Great company culture and office environmentNDT Global Dublin, One Swift Square, Santry Demesne, Dublin, Dublin, Ireland#J-*****-Ljbffr
