My client, a leading company in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to manage financial operations across multiple facilities. This role offers exposure to both operational and strategic finance in a dynamic environment.Duties:Produce weekly KPI reports on plant performance and cost efficiencyManage month-end and year-end financial close processesPrepare monthly management accounts and variance analysesReview accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliationsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial modellingEnsure compliance with FRS102 and internal controlsPrepare capital expenditure tracking and project accountingCollaborate with Head Office Finance Team on reporting and system improvementsSkills Required:Qualified or Finalist Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)Strong technical accounting knowledge with FRS102 experienceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills2 years PQE, ideally in industrial or renewable energy settingsProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systemsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-motivated and capable of working independentlyValid driving licence and access to a carAt Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.
