Job Title:Senior Data EngineerContract Duration:6 MonthsLocation:Galway, Hybrid (Remote considered)About Our CompanyAs CyberSentriq embarks on its journey as a new company, we are excited to announce our MSP first approach, AI-driven capabilities, and the integration of TitanHQ and Redstor.Our strategic goals are aligned with our vision to become a high-growth, innovative cybersecurity platform targeting €100M ARR by ****.CyberSentriq is committed to providing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions that empower Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver exceptional services to their clients.With our AI-driven capabilities, we aim to enhance threat detection, response, and prevention, ensuring the highest level of security for businesses of all sizes.The integration of TitanHQ and Redstor into our platform further strengthens our offerings, providing comprehensive protection against cyber threats and data loss.This collaboration enables us to deliver a unified solution that addresses the evolving needs of the cybersecurity landscape.Join us in our mission to revolutionise the cybersecurity industry and achieve our ambitious growth targets.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Operations team on a 6-month contract.This role is pivotal in enhancing our data infrastructure, building scalable data models, and supporting new business initiatives that drive customer success.You will leverage AI and automation best practices to deliver high-performance data solutions that enable advanced analytics and reporting across our cyber security offerings in the IT channel.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using dbt and Snowflake, optimised for customer-centric analytics.Build, monitor, and optimise automated data workflows using Python and orchestration tools, ensuring reliability and performance.Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate customer and operational requirements into robust technical solutions.Apply AI-driven techniques for data enrichment, anomaly detection, and predictive modelling to support proactive customer insights.Maintain best practices for version control, testing, CI/CD, and documentation of data models and pipelines.Ensure strong governance, data quality, and security across all data processes, aligned with cyber security standards.Support and mentor junior data team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Your Story:Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a high-growth, customer-focused environment.Expertise in:dbt Core: Advanced modelling, testing, macros, and package management.Snowflake: Warehousing, performance tuning, role/security management.Python: ETL/ELT scripting, API integration, automation.Strong SQL skills and understanding of advanced data modelling concepts.Experience with reproducible, scalable data workflows and orchestration tools.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering measurable business impact through data.Familiarity with Prefect for workflow orchestration.Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, ECS).Knowledge of enterprise BI governance and compliance practices.How You Will Win:Success in this role will be measured by:Uptime and failure rate of deployed workflows.Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data delivered.Enablement of analytics that improve customer experience or operational efficiency.Timely completion of data engineering tasks aligned with business priorities.Feedback from stakeholders and junior team members.Celebrate Your Benefits with UsEnjoy 24 days Holiday + 10 Public HolidaysPension Scheme -
