Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Staff and Senior Psychologist
to provide psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support services to children with disabilities and their families.
The successful candidates will play a key role in developing individualized care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and helping children achieve their full potential.
Positions Available:
Staff Grade Psychologist:
Ideal for early-career professionals looking to develop their expertise in a supportive team environment.
Senior Grade Psychologist:
Suited for experienced professionals ready to lead assessments, interventions, and service development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to support diagnosis and intervention planning.
Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Work closely with families to provide emotional and practical support.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and social workers.
Contribute to service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Qualification:
Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychology and
CORU registration
.
Experience:
Staff Grade:
Open to newly qualified psychologists eager to develop their skills.
Senior Grade:
Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with paediatrics and disability experience preferred.
Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills.
A commitment to family-centered and evidence-based practice.
