Job Title: Temporary Psychologist (Staff Grade) - Outpatient Community Mental Health
Location: Mullingar & 1 day a week in Longford
Duration: 6 months
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Temporary Psychologist (Staff Grade) to join our outpatient community mental health team.
The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, interventions, and support to individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues.
This role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our community members.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation, and other relevant modalities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure integrated care.
Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuing professional development activities.
Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Relevant professional registration/licensure.
Experience working in a community mental health setting preferred.
Demonstrated skills in psychological assessment and evidence-based intervention.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have full driver's licence.
