NPD Manager

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced NPD Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the New Product Development (NPD) team, ensuring the timely delivery of innovative and profitable products to market from concept to the launch. Key Responsibilities: Manage the NPD team, providing leadership, direction and guidance to ensure the team meets its objectives and delivers high-quality products on time and within budget. Develop and implement NPD strategies and plans that align with the company's overall business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure seamless product development and launch. Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and customer needs. Manage the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of any issues or delays. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as food technology / food science / nutritional science or related discipline At least 5 years of experience in NPD, preferably in the consumer goods industry. Proven track record of managing and leading cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of product development processes, regulations, and standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
