What's Involved
Develop and maintain Java applications using frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate microservices in a cloud-native environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum or Kanban).
Write and execute unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber).
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling, and development practices.
What's Needed
4+ years of hands-on Java development experience, ideally in enterprise or government environments.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Experience with tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, and container platforms (e.g. OpenShift or Kubernetes).
Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or similar API security protocols.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle or similar) and writing SQL/PLSQL queries.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
