About Us:The Imperial Hotel, Dundalk, is a prestigious 4-star hotel offering exceptional service and a luxurious experience to our guests.We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort across all areas of our hotel, ensuring every guest enjoys a spotless, welcoming environment.Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and detail-oriented Public Cleaner to join our team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of public areas, bars, conference rooms, and event spaces throughout the hotel.This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently to ensure all spaces meet the high standards of our establishment.Key Responsibilities:Clean and maintain all public areas within the hotel, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, bars, and conference/event spaces.Ensure cleanliness and organization of all public-facing areas, including removing waste and replenishing supplies in restrooms and common areas.Assist with event setups and cleanups as needed, ensuring event spaces are presentable before and after each event.Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the supervisor or manager.Monitor the condition of furniture, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring they are well-maintained and in good working order.Use cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently, following health and safety guidelines.Provide excellent service and support to guests, addressing any cleanliness-related concerns promptly.Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.Qualifications:Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping within a hotel or similar environment is preferred, but not essential.Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Weekend availability is essentialWhat We Offer:A supportive and dynamic work environment in a prestigious 4-star hotel.Opportunities for career development and advancement.Training and development programs to help you grow in your role.If you take pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:Company eventsOn-site parkingWellness programApplication question(s):Are you interested in Full-time or part-time hours?Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
