Join to apply for theQA Engineerrole atVRAICompany Information and Introduction:Our mission is to save lives by redefining exceptional human performance and unlocking every individual's full potential.Our vision is to transform the way people are trained by unlocking the untapped resource of human performance data in simulation and training.We envision a future where simulation is within arms reach of anyone who needs it, and individuals can access personalised, adaptive learning environments, so that they can develop the skills they need to flourish.Our customers are some of the biggest aerospace, defence and renewable energy companies in the world.We work closely with them to deliver cutting edge VR simulation solutions to their end users.We believe in creating shared value for our customers, investors, employees and community by adopting the 'Triple Bottom Line' and the B Corporation constitution.This means our company has a legal obligation to balance sustainable profit, with sustainability for people and the planetKey Responsibilities and Duties:We are seeking a talented and highly motivated QA Engineer with a strong focus on automation, DevOps practices, and support engineering.The ideal candidate will be based in either the UK or Ireland and will ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our data-driven and simulation software products while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.This is a hands-on role where your work directly ensures our products are of the highest quality, issue-free and reliable for end users.Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks, including test data management and test environment setupCollaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines are robust and high-quality releases are delivered.Monitor, troubleshoot, and support platform performance issues in production environments.Implement testing frameworks and contribute to creation of QA automation strategies and best practices.Document test plans, cases, and results while providing actionable insights to the engineering team.Partner with our product owners and design teams to define success criteria for new functionality and features.Ensure our products deliver excellent user experience in collaboration with the wider teamsOffer feedback, design & technical suggestions as part of an agile team to improve the quality of the end productKey Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.Strong QA automation and/or support engineering experience in softwareExperience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Solid understanding of database testing and ETL validation.Knowledge of best practices in software testing and Agile processesFamiliarity with VR platforms, simulators, or data integrations is a plus.Self-starter who thrives on solving open-ended technical problems.Ability to implement QA processes and advocate a quality-first mindset across teamsStrong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional teamsVRAI is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.#J-18808-Ljbffr
