Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join their Accounts department. This role is on a hybrid basis in South Dublin. Job Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts receivable and incoming payments, adhering to financial policies. Handle daily financial transactions, such as verification, classification, computation, and recording of receivables data. Prepare and process bills, invoices, and bank deposits in line with financial procedures. Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accurate posting of all payments. Identify and resolve discrepancies and billing issues with clients. Encourage timely invoice payments by sending reminders and contacting clients directly. Produce financial statements and reports to track the status of accounts receivable. Experience Required: Strong grasp of accounting principles, credit practices, and collection laws. Demonstrated ability to manage financial records and perform accurate calculations. Skilled in data entry and numeracy. Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software, such as JDE or similar ERP systems. Fluent in English with proficiency in MS Office. Customer-focused with excellent negotiation skills. Highly accurate with a meticulous eye for detail. Educational requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Working Hours and Benefits: 37.5-hour work week.
