My Client are long established & are a leader in the area of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering.They are seeking aSenior Electrical Design Engineerto undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in their growing Dublin office.The successfulSenior Electrical Design Engineerwill be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Educational, Residential, Commercial/Office buildings, Retail and Healthcare developments.TheSenior Electrical Engineerwill assist the Company Directors with delivery of projects, with effective resourcing of assisting engineers, maintaining technical quality, professionalism, completing all design activities to project milestones / programme.An essential part of this role is to support the Leadership Team with coaching and staff training of engineers, and be involved with collaboration between my clients other OfficesMain Responsibilities:Lead and manage multiple technical design packages, managing designer performance and making appropriate technical management responses.Full technical responsibility for Electrical Building Services output on projects.Responsibility for key client management.Provides management, motivation, inspiration, and leadership for other members of the Building Services team.Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.Education & Experience:Experience working at a Senior level, able to manage and develop resource to meet project demands whilst maintaining the highest level of technical excellence and regulatory compliance and work as part of the wider engineering team.Educated to degree level in mechanical engineering or relevant construction discipline and having gained relevant practical experience in a similar role, with knowledge and experience of Republic of Ireland Regulations.You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of mechanical design, particularly in relation of Part L, CIBSE comfort criteria across a range of building types.You can produce detail design packages of all electrical engineering systems, including:Power DistributionLighting DesignCommunication and IT NetworksSecurity and Fire Alarm SystemsYou would ideally be Chartered or working towards, have experience across a wide range of sectors including Residential, Healthcare, Education and Commercial.An understanding of design software packages, IES and REVIT/BIM would help you success, but training can be provided.Benefits:€75,000 to €90,000Hybrid WorkingLife Insurance & Critical IllnessPension20 days holiday + Public holidays & Christmas closure.You will join an established but growing mid-sized firm, with ample opportunities for continued development and growth.To register your interest, please forward your CV to Jennie Hoare at ******.For further information, please feel free to contact me on +353 (83) 012 5116 or +353 1 513 4797.If you are seeking a position but the above doesn't match your criteria, please do not hesitate to contact me as many other exciting opportunities exist nationwide.#J-18808-Ljbffr
