Job Purpose The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall management of the branch and the achievement of all financial targets within his/her branch.

Key Tasks Required: Operational Management Planning, organising, staffing, directing and controlling all branch staff Maximise the branch's potential by ensuring all branch and financial targets are met Ensure all branch staff adhere to correct procedures in relation to tasks and stock management Maintain all costs within targeted figures Regularly review costs and look for opportunities to reduce them Ensure all stock is maintained and regularly audited Staff Management Identify recruitment needs within budget and process with support from Human Resources Department Conduct annual employee appraisals for all branch staff and provide regular feedback Coach and motivate staff to meet business demand and targets Develop and encourage positive working relationships; resolve issues or escalate to Regional Manager if needed Business Development Promote services to existing and potential customers Develop relationships to retain and grow branch business Suggest new products or services for additional revenue Report weekly sales performance to area manager Quality Management Maintain branch housekeeping Ensure staff uniform compliance Deliver excellent customer service (phone/face-to-face) Follow good work practices and technical guidelines, aiming for first-time accuracy Health and Safety Management Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and legislation Promote safety as a role model in the branch Report breaches of safety policies and legislation Essential Requirement You must have motor industry knowledge.
