Our client is an Irish Engineering Design Consultancy currently recruiting a
Senior Drainage Engineer
.
You will play a key role in delivering transportation drainage design services throughout all stages of project development on multi-disciplinary projects.
Responsibilities include:
Providing deliverables and solutions for drainage elements on schemes and problems
Production and review of feasibility studies, technical reports, detailed designs, and contract documents across various projects
Assisting with the technical development of junior staff and engineers
Monitoring and reporting progress
Meeting and liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other disciplines
Seeking innovative solutions to achieve best value in service delivery
Collaborating with other Jacobs offices in a multi-office environment
Assisting in estimating work costs and bidding for new projects
Requirements
Degree qualification
Familiarity with the design and development of SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems)
In-depth understanding of highway and land drainage construction and maintenance
Confidence in managing and leading a team of junior and less experienced staff
