We are now inviting applications for the above posts from suitably qualified and experienced Nurses to join the Revenue Cycle Team in Cork.
As part of the Revenue Cycle Team, the role of the Claims Utilisation Nurse is to facilitate the completion of clinical detail that relates to each patient care in consultant claim form documentation and supporting letter to allow for efficient and accurate patient claim submission.
This role will also support administration resource within the consultant billing team and be a consistent contributor to education and feedback to both BSHS Hospital's and Consultant offices as function develops and evolves.
Candidate Requirements:
BSC in Nursing
Higher Diploma in business or related subject is desirable
3-5 years' general nursing experience
3-5 years' experience in Hospital billing, Consultant billing, or Insurer Claims processing is desirable
Understanding of performance and development review processes and assessment of individuals knowledge and skills
Person Specification:
Excellent communication skills with clear presentation and reporting ability.
Strong and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated proficiency Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Service-oriented and proactive team player
Ability to develop strong co-operative working relationships
Able to motivate and challenge team members
Key Duties & responsibilities
Provides on-going completion of consultant clinical documentation
Completion of supporting consultant documentation to ensure billing is completed accurately and in line with consultant contract
Establish and maintain review meetings with Consultants or their supporting staff to discuss and improve KPIs, denial trending and any documentation issues.
Responsible for on-boarding and management of team members where required to support further expansion of service to consultants.
