Milford Care Centre, Limerick Serving the people of the Mid-West Milford Care Centre is a Section 38 organisation, working in partnership with the HSE Mid-West, and provides a comprehensive range of Specialist Palliative Care Services and Services for Older People across Counties Clare, Limerick, and North Tipperary.
WE ARE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF Head of Quality & Safety (Grade VIII) Permanent - Part time / WTE 0.5 Scope of Position This is a senior part-time leadership role, responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous development of quality, patient safety, and enterprise risk systems across Milford Care Centre.
The postholder provides strategic direction and operational leadership to ensure care and services meet the highest standards of safety, effectiveness, and user experience.
Qualifications (Essential): Third-level qualification (minimum Level 8) in a healthcare, risk management, or quality-related field.
QQI Level 6 (or higher) qualification in Risk Management or Quality.
Desirable: Master's degree or postgraduate award in Quality, Patient Safety, or Healthcare Management.
Experience (Essential): Minimum 5 years' experience in a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for quality or patient safety.
Experience in risk assessment, incident review, clinical audit, and regulatory compliance.
Desirable: Experience working in a multidisciplinary or palliative care environment.
