Senior Social Worker CAMHS (North Dublin) Our client is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in North Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional passionate about supporting young people with mental health challenges in a multidisciplinary setting.

About the Role: As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in providing specialist mental health support to children, adolescents, and their families.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, risk evaluations, and therapeutic interventions, while working collaboratively with a team of clinicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Social Worker: Provide specialist social work interventions for young people experiencing mental health difficulties.

Conduct psychosocial and risk assessments to guide care planning.

Support families by offering guidance, crisis intervention, and advocacy.

Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary CAMHS team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Liaise with external agencies, including schools, social services, and community organisations.

Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service development initiatives.

Requirements of the Senior Social Worker: A recognised social work qualification and CORU registration.

A minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in a mental health setting.

Experience working with children, adolescents, and families facing complex mental health challenges.

Strong skills in risk assessment, crisis intervention, and therapeutic work.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
