We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Relief Night Chef to join our client's kitchen team.
Job Description: As a Night Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting meals during the night shift.
You will ensure that food is prepared to specification, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet high standards of quality and presentation Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are always followed Assist in menu planning and food preparation for upcoming shifts Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation throughout the shift Manage food stock, ordering ingredients as required Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as a chef or in a similar role within the catering or hospitality industry Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards Flexibility to work 3-4 nights per week, with shifts from 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM Due to location and lack of public transport, own transport is essential How to Apply: If you are a reliable, motivated chef looking for a night shift role in an industrial catering setting, we would love to hear from you.
