Cork Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, including tyre, suspension, brake, exhaust, and electrical systems.
Perform and document routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid top-ups, filter replacements, and tyre rotations.
Conduct services (e.g., tyre pressure checks, starter testing, wiper fitting) where appropriate.
Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine, transmission, and electronic faults.
Ensure workshop compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Maintain clean, organized workspaces and manage parts/inventory stock levels.
Liaise directly with customers and reception staff to explain issues and solutions clearly and professionally.
Requirements Qualified mechanic.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with tyre work, brake servicing, exhaust systems, and MOT standards.
Holds a full clean driver's licence.
Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings or urgent weekend slots.
