Dominic OConnor Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Construction Manager to join our growing team, working on a range of general construction and retrofit/decarbonisation projects across the public and private sectors.

About Us We are a 150-strong team delivering high-quality mechanical and general construction projects throughout Ireland.

Role Purpose The Site Foreman / Construction Manager will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision and coordination, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate site activities, trades, subcontractors, and suppliers Manage construction timelines and report on progress Interpret technical drawings and specifications Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards Liaise with the Project Manager, QS, Engineers, and external stakeholders Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries and safety documentation Resolve issues on site with a problem-solving mindset Support a positive site culture that promotes productivity and safety Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in a Foreman/Site Manager role Experience in public works (e.g.

schools, healthcare, retrofit/decarbonisation) a strong advantage Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Proficient in MS Office and site documentation tools Full clean driving licence and permission to work in Ireland Why Join Us?
