Enterprise People are currently seeking a Business Systems Transformation Specialist with Sun Sytems experience for a 1 Year Contract based in Dublin.

(Hybrid) Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, the Business Systems Transformation Specialist will join the existing IT Financial Applications team who are embarking on a large-scale financial applications upgrade project.

The role will involve technical analysis, configuration, and training activities to improve the existing Sun Systems program across numerous functional areas and modules such as GL, AP, FA, Re-valuations, data interfacing, and bank reconciliation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transformation specialist to work on a large-scale financials upgrade project in the Insurance/Reinsurance space.

The Business Systems Transformation Specialist will: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Review of existing processes, which interact with Sun Systems Review of business requirements for modular areas to ensure the applications full capabilities are being utilised Work with clients and the applications team to develop the functional specifications for customisations Make recommendations on the business process to reduce manual touch-points and increase automation Analyse and configure the solution to meet business requirements Redevelop Q&A XL reports to satisfy operational and regulatory needs Define testing and acceptance criteria and test plans for each module Provide training material and facilitate training to the business and client users Maintain the process and procedure documentation suite QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: A 3rd Level Qualification (IT or Accounting) 5+ Years Sun Systems functional knowledge Experience in application management, issue resolution, requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, and product stabilisation Experience of Transfer Desk and the Integration of associated modules to Sun Systems Ability and knowledge of working in a customer focused shared service environment Stamp 4 Visa or EU Passport essential Excellent MS Office experience Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Call Patrick Docherty at Enterprise People for more information.
