We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Staff Nurse (RNID/RGN/RSCN) to join our team in Teach Saoirse, Children's Residential House, Nenagh, Co Tipperary Contract Type: Full & Part Time Permanent Posts Available Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Hours negotiable) Salary Scale: €34,492 to €50,362 pro rata per annum.
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations Overview of the Post: To provide residential respite to families of children and young adults with disabilities in North Tipperary.
The residential support service will be coordinated by the RRM/Service Coordinator, who will prioritise families to be involved in the service, who agrees with each family the type and level of support to be provided.
The Nurse will be supervised by and work closely with the RRM/Service Coordinator.
In order to provide a flexible support service, the Nurse will be required to work during evenings and weekends Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list of Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Have a nursing RNID/RGN/RSCN qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland Be registered in RNID/RGN/RSCN of the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) Post holder required to maintain your registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland for the duration of your employment and evidence of such registration/renewal must be furnished annually to your Employer Experience of working in a person centred health or social care setting Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
Full clean driver's licence and willingness to drive service transport.
Basic IT skills.
Desirable Criteria: 'D1' license an advantage or be prepared to obtain a 'D' or 'D1' license Experience of working with adults or children with disabilities desirable.
