Job Title: Site Manager Location: Maynooth, Co.
Kildare Project: Sports facility extension Salary: Competitive including Benefits (DOE) An established main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a new sports facility extension based in Maynooth.
This is an 18-month project involving extensive steel frame construction, structural works, and high-quality fit-out.
You will be responsible for the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of the project, managing all site activities from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations and the full site team.
Manage all phases of the project including steel frame erection, groundworks, structural works and high-end finishes.
Ensure works are delivered safely, in line with drawings, specifications, and all relevant building and safety regulations.
Coordinate and supervise all direct labour, trades and subcontractors.
Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and design team to monitor progress, budgets and quality.
Maintain strong site safety standards, deliver daily briefings and enforce best practice.
Organise site logistics, deliveries and materials procurement in line with programme requirements.
Maintain excellent site housekeeping and site presentation at all times.
Requirements: Minimum 5+ years experience in a Site Manager role with a main contractor.
Proven experience delivering steel frame buildings is essential.
Background in similar large-scale projects such as sports facilities, commercial or public buildings.
Excellent understanding of health & safety, building standards and best practice.
Relevant trade or construction-related qualification desirable.
Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
Full clean driving licence.
