We are a delighted to be partnering with North Kerry success story to recruit a Company Accountant to join their finance team.
The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified accountant with experience in managing the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a broad and hands-on role ideal for a recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) looking to grow their career in a thriving business environment.
You will be responsible for managing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, supporting month-end close, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities Manage day-to-day AP and AR, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Monitor cash flow and liaise with suppliers and customers.
Prepare reconciliations, assist with month-end procedures, and support journal postings.
Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.
Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient finance operations.
Requirements Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of both AP and AR processes.
Strong communication abilities for vendor, customer, and internal team liaison.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
