We work in partnership with both public and private hospitals, as well as in semi-acute facilities, paediatric homecare, residential services, and practice nursing.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join a care of the elderly facility located in Galway.
Key responsibilities Adhere to and follow the hiqa guidelines.
Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage for all patient care needs.
Drive continuous quality improvement by monitoring patient outcomes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
Must have a drivers license.
A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership or management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Commitment to continuous improvement and staff development.
