About the role: Deloitte's Actuarial Modelling Centre work with some of the largest life and non life insurance and reinsurance companies in Ireland.
They are complex, influential and exciting.

As a Consultant in the Audit & Assurance practice, you will participate in multiple engagements and be responsible for helping clients specify, design, implement and test their optimum solution.
A leader in the field, you will be supervising and managing services to clients including aiding in preparing project plans and managing budgets.
Someone of your knowledge and know-how will also be expected to: Develop a personal growth plan/strategy Identify, prepare and participate in proposals for new clients and projects Participate in developing projects plans, identifying staff, working in line with budgets and owning and delivering work assigned to you.
Supervise, develop and motivate staff, including coaching and career guidance Coordinate with overseas resources to drive efficient execution Drive the delivery of services in a timely and effective way, exceeding our clients' quality expectations Effectively work in an agile environment Assist with audits or wider actuarial team activities if required Develop, maintain and leverage internal contacts across Deloitte businesses Stay connected to market trends to think through future innovative solutions About You: Fully Qualified/Part Qualified Actuary who also has a data analytics qualification/experience Experience in relation to specifying, designing, implementing and testing data warehousing or data lake solutions or part qualified actuary with a computer science or similar qualification Experienced working in or alongside actuarial reporting or modelling teams A clear vision of how data analytics and automation could be used to assist in the end to end actuarial process in an insurance/reinsurance company The ability to present client data in a clear and concise format Ability to develop effective client relationships, in particular establishing rapport, trust and confidence with stakeholders Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment K nowledge of data analytics including statistical approaches and tools e.g.
R/Python.
