We are seeking a part-qualified actuary to join our European Actuarial Consulting team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role:
  • Perform solvency capital calculations and reporting requirements for several European captive insurance companies.
  • Work alongside fellow actuaries and accountants to provide Solvency II consulting services.
  • Support the UK-based actuarial team on projects ranging from reserving to pricing studies.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate with honours of a numerical degree.
  • Member in good standing of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or Society of Actuaries in Ireland.
  • Working towards actuarial qualification.
  • Experience in Excel and analytical tools for complex model development.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining code (R or Python preferred).
  • Project management experience, taking a project from infancy to completion while meeting deadlines.
  • Part-qualified actuary, expecting to sit general insurance specialist exams.
