A growing Dublin-based MEP consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its expanding team.
Operating as a smaller, agile practice, the company delivers projects across commercial fit-outs, residential and mixed-use developments, retail, education, and light industrial sectors.

Join a multidisciplinary consultancy with a hands-on approach Work on high-quality projects in the commercial, residential, retail, and education sectors Be part of a close-knit team where your contribution directly impacts business success Enjoy autonomy and variety in day-to-day tasks Gain exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle Fast-track your progression with real leadership opportunities Key Responsibilities Lead the mechanical design from concept to completion across multiple projects Coordinate with clients, architects, and consultants to align design objectives Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians Ensure compliance with Irish building codes, sustainability standards, and best practices Support project planning, delivery schedules, and cost management Represent the company in client meetings and contribute to business development Requirements Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering Minimum 6+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally with an Irish consultancy Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and local construction practices Proficiency in Auto CAD, Hevacomp, IES, and other relevant design software (Revit a plus) Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills Chartered or working towards chartership Benefits Competitive salary package: €65,000 €75,000 DOE Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Annual performance-related bonus 22+ days annual leave with additional leave options Ongoing CPD support and professional development funding Clear progression path to Associate level and beyond If you are a Senior Mechanical Design Engineerwho is looking for your next career move, please send your CV to Grace Birchor callfor a confidential discussion.
