My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Solutions Architect to join the team on a permanent basis working on a hybrid model.
The Solution Architect for Identity & Access plays a strategic role in bridging technical expertise with business needs.
You will be responsible for driving technical excellence in customer engagements by supporting sales cycles, scoping complex integrations, mapping APIs, and delivering architectural design guidance.
You will work directly with enterprise customers, sales engineering teams, and product and development stakeholders to define scalable, secure, and high-performing identity and access management solutions.
This includes leading technical deep dives, responding to RFIs/RFPs, and owning the design of end-to-end solution architectures.
Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement Serve as the technical lead in customer discussions, clearly articulating solution value propositions.
Participate in technical discovery, requirements gathering, and architectural deep dives.
Deliver tailored responses to RFIs/RFPs and support commercial proposal development.
Solution Design & Integration Scope and design integrations involving RESTful APIs, SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM provisioning, and directory services.
Map customer systems to APIs, validate assumptions, and define robust integration patterns.
Produce architecture diagrams, network flows, and data mapping documentation.
Collaboration & Enablement Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to align customer requirements with product roadmaps.
Provide implementation oversight and technical guidance to project and delivery teams.
Act as a technical advocate internally and externally, contributing to solution blueprints and reference architectures.
Experience Minimum of 5 years in software architecture or solution design, with at least 3 years in identity and access management (IAM) or Saa S platforms.
Hands-on experience designing solutions across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles, including RFIs, RFQs, and technical workshops.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Skills Strong technical knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, SAML, SCIM, and modern identity protocols.
Expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerized services.
Proficiency with architecture modeling tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, Ability to craft technical documents, solution proposals, and presentations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Competencies Experience with modern development environments, CI/CD pipelines, Git Lab, and Dev Sec Ops practices.
Familiarity with programming stacks such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, identity governance, and IAM/PAM frameworks.
Understanding of compliance and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
