Our Clients, a multi-nation business who supply, install and maintain Equipment, are looking to recruit a Service Operations Manager to manage and develop their growing team of Field Service Engineers and support staff.
(c.
35 staff in total) Youwill be a member of the Senior Management Team reporting to the Managing Director and be responsible for the strategic & operational leadership of all Service-related activities.
This includes managing service delivery, driving growth in service sales, optimising operational performance and delivering a seamless, customer centric experience.
The Role: Working with the Managing Director and Senior Management Team you will Develop and Implement Company Service Strategy to increase Service Revenue & Margins Be part of Team to identify potential acquisitions and assist on integration of any new businesses acquired.
Define and measure Service Team KPIs Lead Negotiations with Key Customers on Service Tenders Work with Installations Co-ordinator to ensure all new Equipment sales customers are offered a Service contract Follow up with Customers who have previously installed Equipment but who do not have a service contract currently Be link with Sales Team where upgrade opportunity / new sales opportunity for equipment exists Work with Regional Service Managers & Service Co-ordinators to ensure all customer calls are responded to promptly Assist with Service Quotations Ensure Service Invoicing is accurate and complete Leads, recruits, trains and develops the Service Team to achieve required results Ensure adequate level of Spare Parts available in Warehouse and Engineer vans to minimise response time Ensure Health & Safety remains number 1 priority for all Service Work Continuously work on Service Systems to improve performance & efficiency The Person Excellent people management skills & experience - leading, directing and motivating staff Commercially Aware with P&L understanding Excellent Customer communication skills with ability to work under pressure Instil culture of excellent customer service within Service Team Knowledge of Industrial Equipment Service or similar industry a distinct advantage Electrical and/or Mechanical Qualifications also an advantage For more details call Keith on or email your CV to Skills: Service Manager Engineering Management
