Lead Enterprise Architect Customer

What is the opportunity? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer architect to join our team.
The lead architect will create and develop relationships across Business and IT to ensure that the strategies and architecture(s) proposed are aligned to the Business need, are fit for purpose and provide value for the investments made.
The lead architect acts as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping transformation initiatives across the bank In this role, you will: Contribute to strategy definition and the development of roadmaps and reference architectures in support of business strategic priorities and challenges Support the business by consulting on technology and providing advice and thought leadership.
Support project colleagues with Enterprise technology landscape knowledge, undersetting of wider enterprise context and in communication etc.
Direct and guide change programmes in their design of changes for solutions, maintain oversight and play an architecture governance role throughout the lifecycle of a change project Direct, guide and mentor solution architects to design architectures that implement or influence the Group's strategy and roadmaps in compliance with the guidance from Principles, Standards, Policies and Guidelines Lead architecture input into large scale transformation programmes, utilising cutting edge technologies, particularly in the data and AI spaces.
What will make you stand out? We are looking for a candidate that has knowledge in developing enterprise architectures and a proven track record for designing enterprise level solutions and delivering digital experiences You will have knowledge of architecture governance and have demonstrated abilities in visioning and high-level solution capabilities.
Experience with any of the following will also help you to stand out; Customer Journey Mapping, CRM platforms, Process Automation, Data Analytics and Digital Channels.
Ability to work with deep-dive technical SME's and decisive when presented with disparate technical solutions.
Leadership and people management skills.

More about the team The Enterprise Architecture team is part of the Enterprise Services division of Bank of Ireland.
Our purpose is to align IT and business strategies, guide strategy execution, optimise technology investment and influence business strategies through the lens of being commercially and technically executable.
This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the base location being Dublin.
Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
