A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings including stadia, warehouses and distribution centres, new build residential apartments, data centres and medical facilities to name a few project types seek the solid appointment of an experienced Mechanical Site Manager / Mechanical Supervisor from an M&E / Building Services mechanical installation background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success.

Candidates sought must be based or commutable to be site based in Dublin.

You will be an 'off the tools' Site Manager present on site, managing, coordinating and checking off mechanical installation works on one project at any one time; projects are valued in the M's.

We seek a true professional with direct mechanical site management or mechanical site supervisory experience, capable and previously skilled managing on site installations into mainly commercial and industrial environments.

You will have experience in ensuring the appropriate and relevant permits are in place, capable of conducting inspections and tests to identify and resolve any mechanical issues, liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team, on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE etc.

Other requirements require on-site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour, overseeing and managing labour and subcontractors, managing relevant external correspondence and the ordering of all day-to-day site materials.

Candidates highly sought after are those naturally from an M&E / Building Services background, ideally with direct working experience as a Mechanical Site Manager OR Mechanical Site Supervisor in the delivery of mechanical installations and all mechanical related services you would expect to find in the environments previously mentioned above.

You will be competent with a proven track record in managing Mechanical Engineers / Industrial Plumbers, Pipefitters, HVAC Engineers, Mechanical Supervisors / Mechanical Foremen and working on site schemes of this level.

Whilst they have their own teams of mechanical installations engineers on the ground, you will also work with other specialist engineers to undertake some elements of these installs liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
