This is a permanent role reporting directly to the Claims Operations Manager.
The successful candidate will handle the day-to-day management of First Notification of Loss claims and play an important part in ensuring efficient and high-quality service to brokers, insurers, and customers.
Your Role Manage FNOL claims including notifications, post, processing, and phone calls.
Ensure compliance with claims authority, company binders, and reporting requirements.
Record all notifications, reserve amendments, and payments accurately within deadlines.
Assist with month-end and quarterly reporting for insurers.
Liaise with brokers, insurers, customers, and third parties to deliver excellent claims service.
Appoint approved repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, medical, and legal experts as required.
Support insurer audits and attend settlement negotiations where necessary.
Contribute to departmental efficiency and best practice.
Carry out additional duties as required by management.
Your Skills Minimum of 1 year FNOL claims handling experience.
APA or grandfathered status (working towards CIP is desirable).
Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, claims regulations, CPC, and motor legislation.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently with a structured, methodical approach.
Flexible, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively.
A strong team player with a customer-focused mindset.
