We are looking for a Claims Operations Manager to support the Head of Claims Operational Excellence APAC & Europe in leading the regional claims operations function. In this role, you will implement best practices and operational policies to improve efficiency and governance.

You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders both within and outside of claims, and develop and monitor KPIs to track activity across the region. Another key part of the role is to drive a culture of continuous improvement with country operations representatives.

You will lead regional engagement with functions such as IT, Risk, and IMT etc., and take responsibility for regional oversight of transitions to ESS. Additionally, you will be accountable for coordinating and consolidating key elements of XLICSE governance bodies and CBI requirements.

You will report to the Head of Claims Operational Excellence APAC and Europe.

What you'll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Support the Head of Claims Operations APAC & Europe to implement and follow up the necessary initiatives, systems and processes to ensuring the successful accomplishment of the XLICSE and APAC & Europe BU strategy and goals.
  • Work as part of Regional Claims Ops team to partner with key regional and global claims stakeholders to develop & deliver effective operational solutions for claims handling and ensuring the accomplishment of the AXA XL guidelines and AXA Group standards.
  • Contribute to improve the existing processes and systems to gain in efficiency, cost reduction and innovation. Developing & delivering continuous improvement of reporting & analysis to enhance business alignment and performance. Flag and ensure operational issues experienced in the region and XLICSE find a solution.
  • Lead and implement projects as required
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement appropriate process metrics and benefits measures on initiatives, that will include increasing productivity, cost effectiveness & service outcomes.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance oversight of XLICSE and the region, as well as that all CBI and audit recommendations or Risk Mitigation Programmes owned by XLICSE BU are resolved ahead of schedule
  • Work with the Regional Head of Claims Ops to ensure appropriate infrastructure is in place to monitor progress, business activities & key operational governance risks. This will include claims outsourcing, vendor management, claim shared service etc.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
  • Excellent Project management skills and solid experience managing projects implementation from planning to execution and performance controls in a multi-cultural and international environment
  • Track Record of how to build & execute on Project management.
  • Results oriented. Approach tasks proactively and anticipate needs. Think quickly & prioritise work streams without sacrificing quality. Ability to juggle numerous concurrent responsibilities.
  • Continuous Improvement focussed. Willing to ask questions and explore new ideas. Eager to learn and focussed in continuously improving technical skills.
  • Excellent English skills (written and oral) is a must and other languages skills will be a plus.
