Waterford Location: Dungarvan, County Waterford Contract Type: Permanent Salary: €40,000 - €42,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Accommodation Support Available About the Role We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to join a well-established kitchen team in the scenic town of Dungarvan.

This is a great opportunity for a talented chef to develop their skills in a fast-paced and professional environment.

As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

Main Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard Lead, supervise and develop junior kitchen team members Maintain strict food hygiene, health and safety standards Oversee stock control and inventory management Participate in menu development, using seasonal ingredients and modern trends What's On Offer Competitive salary of €40,000-€42,000, depending on experience Help with accommodation available for the right candidate Permanent position with flexible shifts (Wednesday to Sunday, up to 10 hours per day) A supportive and professional team environment in a beautiful location Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in a Sous Chef role or similar in a busy kitchen Skilled in cooking, food presentation, and quality control Capable of leading and motivating a kitchen team Well-organised, with excellent communication skills Flexible with availability to work evenings and weekends Passionate about producing exceptional food and delivering great service Apply Now If you're ready to take the next step in your culinary career and enjoy working in a vibrant kitchen near the coast, we'd love to hear from you.
