Reporting to the PAS Project Manager the Testing Lead will be working on the new Patient Administration System (PAS) Upgrade Project.
This is a temporary position that is primarily onsite, based in Dublin 8.
However, there may be opportunities for some off-site working, depending on the project requirements.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and paid an hourly rate of €32.54, this is based off an annualised salary of €59,419 (can be negotiated).
This position will also offer 30 days annual leave per year and paid bank holidays.
Purpose of the Role: This position is working in a digital transformation project environment, involving the implementation of new Oracle Health applications, integrated with the current Electronic Patient Record to replace the existing legacy Patient Administration System.
Key workflows of focus include outpatient processes, patient registration, referral and scheduling management, patient billing, medical records management and integration with multiple downstream systems.
Data, including scheduled appointments and waiting lists will be migrated from the legacy to the new system.
The Testing Lead will oversee all testing activities across multiple environments, data migration phases and test cycles to ensure data integrity, system readiness and that all functional and integration requirements are validated.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Our client will work with Oracle Health, a world leader in digital health technology, to implement a new Patient Administration System (PAS) integrated with other systems, in a critical project to support the hospital's ongoing Digital Transformation programme.
The Project Testing Lead will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of all testing activities related to the PAS Upgrade, including data migration validation, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
The Testing Lead will work with the vendor and other members of the project team to ensure that all functional, clinical, and data migration requirements are validated and that the system is fit for go-live.
Key duties will include: Test Strategy & Planning Develop and maintain the overall testing strategy and test plan documents in collaboration with the Data Migration Supplier, Oracle Health and internal stakeholders Facilitate regular testing meetings and provide updates to governance forums Manage the various test phases including System Testing, Integration Testing, Full Dress Rehearsal (FDR), and Go-Live validation Data Migration Testing Validate migrated data across MPI, inpatient, outpatient, ED, and waiting list datasets Coordinate volumetric reconciliation and data quality verification (DQV) reporting Ensure test coverage for migrated, moved-on, and newly created data Test Execution Oversight Ensure test scripts and scenarios are developed, reviewed, and signed off Oversee test data preparation, environment readiness, and issue tracking Lead execution of test cycles including trial loads (TL1-TL3) and FDR Other Supporting the development and maintenance of systematic processes for sharing information, skills and expertise between stakeholders within and outside of the organisation to ensure critical knowledge is retained, understood and can be utilised effectively.
Supporting Organisational Readiness activities during the project and in advance of the system go-live.
Academic/Professional Qualifications and/or Relevant Experience: Required: Candidates must have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
AND Experience in software testing and quality assurance roles Experience with data migration validation, volumetric reconciliation, and DQV tools.
Familiarity with HL7 messaging, interface testing, and downstream system integration Desirable: Experience in healthcare IT systems particularly Cerner or Oracle Health applications.
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) and manual data migration validation.
ISTQB certification (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Technical/Clinical Competencies: Required: Strong knowledge of test planning, test case design, automation frameworks, and performance testing Experience with risk-based testing and compliance validation Ability to manage User Acceptance Testing Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional healthcare teams Desirable: Familiarity with regulatory and interoperability standards This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer.
