Network Support Engineer Plan Net21 Communications are hiring Network Engineers for a Support role in Dublin.
The ideal candidate will be working within the Plan Net21 Network Engineering Support team to provide support to our customers within designated Service Level agreements and time frames, ensuring customer satisfaction is at the forefront of all commitments.
This is an office-based role but will require visits to customer sites so a Driving License is required.
This is a customer facing role requiring the successful candidate to undertake troubleshooting tasks, consultancy, and the ability to work with vendor support teams too.
Qualifications IT related Degree or Diploma at minimum Juniper JNCIA Other vendor relevant certs Responsibilities Troubleshoot networking issues reported by clients.
Liaise with the customers to understand their network, provide reports, recommendations and technical detail On-site Installation work, including projects from time to time.
Provide technical support by analyzing complex customer issues, identify root cause and resolve in accordance with SLAs to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Most Important Competencies Understanding of networking fundamentals Experience as a field engineer or NOC experience Experience of multi-vendor equipment Excellent customer facing skills.
Problem solving Works well in a team.
Fluent written and verbal communication Excellent time management and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work to deadlines and within SLAs.
Eagerness to learn new technologies/skills.
Contribute to support documentation and knowledge base articles.
Full Driver's License and own Car Plan Net21 Communications is an Equal Opportunities employer.
