An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Advisor to join one of Irelands leading civil engineering contractors.
This role is based in Maynooth, Kildare, and offers long-term work on a high-profile civil infrastructure project.
The company has an outstanding reputation in the industry, backed by a proven track record in delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Promote a strong health and safety culture across the workforce.
Deliver toolbox talks and safety training as required.
Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Ensure all health and safety documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legislation.
Liaise with site teams, management, and external bodies regarding health and safety matters.
Requirements: 3+ years experience in a Health and Safety role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
Relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g.
Diploma in Health and Safety, NEBOSH, etc.).
Strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Full driving licence.
