The market leading provider of laboratory and production services are seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join their team in Shannon.

Due to our client's continued growth, they are now hiring a Facilities & Maintenance Manager.

THE COMPANY: Established in the early 1980s, our client is a highly respected Irish-owned organisation providing specialist services to the scientific manufacturing sector.

With operations that meet international standards and a strong reputation for technical innovation, they are a key player in their field.

Their growth trajectory continues, and with it comes the need for strong technical leadership on-site.

THE ROLE: The successful Shannon-based Facilities & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the implementation and execution of all preventative and reactive maintenance activities across a production facility.

This role will also involve: Maintenance and compliance of all plant utilities and production equipment.

Managing critical stock, plant registers, and insurance documentation.

Coordination and oversight of contractors and service providers.

Planning and delivering capital projects and improvement works in conjunction with the senior leadership team.

THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to experienced maintenance professionals with a strong technical background, ideally trade-qualified Electricians or Mechanical Fitters.

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a production maintenance or facilities environment is essential.

* Proven experience in the maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC services.

* Experience working with contractors and service providers.

* Strong communication and project delivery skills.

* Exposure to ISO quality systems and regulatory compliance advantageous.
