
National Account Executive

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, managing processes, and keeping multiple projects moving.
You will act as the central coordination point for brand and customer administration, ensuring smooth execution of activities across Retail, Wholesale, DIY, B2 B, and Non-Food channels.
Its a fantastic opportunity for an early-career commercial professional or someone with transferable skills from another sector who wants to develop into a future National Account Manager role.
Key Responsibilities Support National Account Managers and Brand Managers with day-to-day customer and brand administration.
Act as the go-to contact for customer queries related to product data, forms, and account set-up.
Manage new product development (NPD) launches, ensuring listings, set-ups, and promotional plans are delivered on time.
Assist with sales forecasting and liaise closely with Supply Chain and Finance to track performance.
Produce and maintain regular reports on customer sales, stock, and promotions.
Keep all brand and customer records centralised and up to date for internal teams.
Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Finance, Trade Marketing, and Operations to deliver account activity smoothly.
What Were Looking For Essential: Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIF, reporting).
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with internal teams and external customers.
Desirable: Commercial awareness and interest in brand and business growth.
Previous experience in FMCG, retail, distribution, or a fast-paced commercial environment.
Exposure to account management, trade marketing, or stock/forecasting processes.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is an advantage but not essential.
