Post Summary: The School of Medicines postgraduate programme office is partnering with the Climate Action and Sustainability Office in the HSE to deliver training elements to support the Climate Action Programme into 2025 and beyond.
This new post will facilitate the development, co-ordination, and administration of different climate action education programmes, working closely with subject matter experts to develop content, curricula, and bespoke training modules.
The main purpose of the role and deliverables are: Deliver a Climate Action and Sustainability 3 year training plan Assist in the management of the delivery of 4 30 minute e-learning modules with subject matter experts for various colleges and HSEland Green Labs Green Emergency Departments Green Theatres Tbc Climate impact on Health (TCD expertise) Possible additional Elearning module in consultation with TCD Link with Change by Degrees(external digital learning platform provider) to co-ordinate and project manage leadership training modules for Consultant clinical leads Context: The goal of the School of Medicines postgraduate team is to provide centralised resources to aid in the support of our 26+ PG courses, as well as in developing new courses.
The School of Medicine has an ambition to develop more short courses including CPD and microcredentials, and to work with external stakeholders such as the HSE and provide the expertise to develop teaching content and training plans on their behalf.
This new role will coordinate the development of new e-learning modules with subject matter experts in TCD (and if necessary other institutions) to project manage the delivery e-learning modules for various Colleges and HSELan D the Irish Health Services portal for online learning.
Although the role-holder will work as part of a team, they will have responsibility for delivery of certain parts of the operation and will work with multiple academic stakeholders across various disciplines.
The role holder will be the first point of contact for staff in the School and HSE as they develop course content, as well as clinical staff, academics, and researchers who wish to take courses.
The role will be the main point of contact with the HSEs Climate Action and Sustainability Office and will be expected to provide regular updates and reports, and to deliver the project on time and within budget.
Main Responsibilities: Duties of the Post The Climate Action and Sustainability Training Manager will be responsible for the following duties.

Curriculum Development Work with Subject Matter Expert/ Experts (SMEs) in the given area and assist in implementation of this.
Work with SMEs and HSEland to design and approve a curriculum / course outline, including learning outcomes, topics, assessment etc.

Content Development Work with SMEs and HSEland to determine the online learning strategy; e.g., storytelling, case studies, quizzes and other interactivities Work with HSEland to agree the look and feel of each module and develop graphics, illustrations etc.

Review and Quality Assurance Assist in co-ordination of the module for independent peer review for accuracy, user experience etc.

Deliverable Liaise with HSE Climate and Sustainability Office and HSE Land on delivery of modules 5.
Project Management Project manager timelines, deliverables, milestones, stakeholder alignment etc.
Person Requirements The role-holder will require the following knowledge, skills and attributes for successful performance in the role Qualifications: Leaving Certificate or equivalent - essential Diploma or professional qualification - desirable An undergraduate degree and/or a Ph.

in any biological related discipline would be an advantage Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail and the web - essential Awareness of the basic principles or standardised work routines in developing and establishing new CPD courses.desirable Familiarity with the work of the TSJCI and of the University.desirable Experience: Prior work experience in a relevant role.essential Experience in education programme development and/or project management.

essential Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose of this contract is to facilitate the development, co-ordination, and administration of different climate action education programmes, working closely with subject matter experts to develop content, curricula, and bespoke training modules.
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 Salary Scale (€57,270 --€67,293 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
