Eir evo talentare currently seeking applicants for Junior Helpdesk Engineer, this is a long-term day rate contract.
Located in Dublin 1 This role is fully onsite.
Responsibilities: Install, maintain and repair desktop related equipment and software (PCs, peripherals, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, scanners, workstation on wheels, standard/nonstandard local software including but not limited to MS Office, MS Outlook, Visio, Adobe).
Engage and coordinate with hardware and software vendors to repair/support technology components in a timely manner.
Adhere to Asset management processes to ensure accurate recording of company resources from receipt to configuration and ultimately delivery of assets including adhering to the Asset Disposal policy.
Improve ticket queue management.
Review to improve missed SLAs, incorrect process flow, ticket documentation, and resolution rates and times.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.
Experience A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience within an IT function Knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows 10 OS and 365.
Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to react to changing situations with an appropriate sense of urgency and problem ownership.
Must be able to: Follow documented procedures Work on a team as well as independently Complete assigned duties quickly and efficiently Ability to make clear, concise, and data-backed decisions and a willingness to experiment with new equipment and new ideas Strong team player who understands that customer service comes above all else Natural problem solver who enjoys identifying ways to make things better Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed time frames Candidates must be eligible to work full time and long term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long term work Visa to apply.
