eir evo talent is currently seeking applicants for Junior Helpdesk Engineer. This is a long-term day rate contract.

Located in Dublin 1.

This role is fully onsite.

Responsibilities
  1. Install, maintain, and repair desktop-related equipment and software (PCs, peripherals, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, scanners, workstation on wheels, standard/nonstandard local software including but not limited to MS Office, MS Outlook, Visio, Adobe).
  2. Engage and coordinate with hardware and software vendors to repair/support technology components in a timely manner.
  3. Adhere to Asset management processes to ensure accurate recording of company resources from receipt to configuration and delivery, including Asset Disposal policy compliance.
  4. Improve ticket queue management by reviewing and enhancing processes to meet SLAs, improve documentation, and increase resolution rates and times.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager from time to time, as reasonably required.
Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience within an IT function.
  2. Knowledge and troubleshooting skills for Windows 10 OS and 365.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels.
  6. Ability to react to changing situations with urgency and ownership.
  7. Must be able to:
    • Follow documented procedures.
    • Work independently and in a team.
    • Complete duties efficiently.
  8. Ability to make clear, concise, data-backed decisions and willingness to experiment with new equipment and ideas.
  9. Strong team player with a focus on customer service.
  10. Natural problem solver who enjoys improving processes.
  11. Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes.

Candidates must be eligible to work full-time long-term in the specified location or hold a valid long-term work visa.
