We have an excellent opportunity for a Lead Azure Engineer to take responsibility for the administration, support and maintenance of our clients Azure cloud infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be targeting with ensuring high availability, and driving optimization initiatives within our clients Azure environment as the ultimate escalation point for all Azure technical issues.
The successful candidate will be expert at maintaining, optimising and monitoring Azure based infrastructure.
S/he will be very conversant with Microsoft best practice around Azure security.
Were looking to speak to experienced contractors with at least 3 years experience in a similar role supporting complex Azure cloud services, with deep technical knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networks, Azure AD, Application Gateway, Load Balancing.
Azure Security Centre, Defender for Cloud and so on.
The successful candidate will be very comfortable using Power Shell and ideally will have a background in Hybrid environments.
Our client would have a strong preference for candidates with Azure professional certifications, e.g.
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
This is a hybrid role, based in Dublin.
This is a contract role, candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland without any form of sponsorship i.e.
Irish/UK/EU Nationals or those holiday a Stamp 4.
